My name is Vika and I run my personal training business, called Vika Fitness Coaching, in Newcastle upon Tyne. My main sport for many years (since teenage years to 2016) was competitive Olympic weightlifting.

In the past, I competed and won a silver medal in the Olympic Weightlifting U35’s (-58kg) Championships, in 2016, I won a Gold medal (U35’s; -58kg) and an Absolute Trophy in European Weightlifting Games, in France.

In 2016, I took up bodybuilding (bikini fitness) and I’m now going from strength to strength in preparing myself and winning competitions.

I used to be a secondary PE teacher, gymnastics and trampolining coach, fitness & weightlifting courses tutor / examiner / assessor, I worked as an fitness coach for various sports within  National Governing  Bodies (gymnastics, rowing, sprinting, track and field) and continue to work as a strength and conditioning coach.

I train and coach athletes, men, women, athletes, children from 9 years of age and, of course, I practice what I preach, daily.

In 2017, I started MSc degree in Nutritional Science and upon competition, I am hoping to do a PhD in Nutritional Science in 2019.
