In stressful situations our brain stems release a hormone called norepinephrine, sometimes known as noradrenalin. It inhibits clear thinking, inflicts mood swings, and massively contributes to depression and hypertension (high blood pressure).
The simplest and best way to deal with work-related stress is by physical exercise. When we exercise, we utilize unwanted stress hormones and restore our body to its original calm state.

It prepares the body to act fast in emergency situations, dilating pupils for better vision, releasing extra oxygen and blood glucose to the working muscles. The same occurs during exercise.
